A Young Artist Who Gave Life to Vintage Art
Sonny Boy, a Los Angeles born and raised artist was surprised to discover his talent when he was asked to paint one of his client’s glass storefront for the first time. He then inspired and pursued a vintage painting job since then. Now, he has made a traditional painting famous throughout Los Angeles, whether it is Little Borough like Silver Lake or Highland Park or downtown, everywhere you look, its old things coming back to life.
As a child he was fascinated towards the artistic writing and designs, he would write his name and weird font that he would just make up and incorporate them into designs like frames, or eagle or skulls of old bottle labels of thirties and forties. If someone wants him to paint on the wall or the glass storefront or approaches him to do a window or old theatre, he wants to make it authentic and keep the same aesthetic by using the same colors and fonts that were used while it was done back then. He first studies the clients interest then creates something in his brain and portrays onto the place where it is supposed to be put. His dream is to inspire people by creating traditional and interpretive art using his brain and soul.
